I personally wouldn't care if the game world was smaller still, if it felt denser. I'm not sure this is a useful comparison. No matter which map you believe to me more correct (my money is on the map rendered straight from the geometry) it doesn't change the fact that the BZ map is significantly smaller than SN1's map. I uploaded another image to imgur where you can check the difference between the 3d generated and the handdrawn map on the wiki. Since these two maps are directly add odds with each other in certain areas I had to pick one of the two and settled for the one generated straight from the 3d mesh. While the one on the wiki seems to be handdrawn and doesn't include any dimensions the one I used was rendered straight from the game's geometry and has clear dimension markers both in terms of depth as well as lenght. edit1: The reason why I didn't use the map on the WIki is because I can't reconstruct how this map was generated and it seems a lot less precise than the map I used. If you are a potential buyer and need a comparison that is true to scale you might have a look before dropping 30$ on a game that is substantially smaller in scope than the original which ironically cost less.

I compiled my findings into an image and attached it via imgur link. I knew it was smaller than in the base game but when I found out how small the map actually is I was a bit underwhelmed. So get ready to blast off in a rocket fuelled Starfield performance preview.Since the release of Below Zero is getting closer (it's a Christmas miracle!) I decided to do some research how big the map is compared to the original. We also compare the improvements over the previous showing, enhancements within the engine, and much more.
SUBNAUTICA BELOW ZERO MAP DECEMBER 2020 PC
The biggest question after the show(s) was: why is it 30fps on Xbox Series X and Series S and not 60fps? In this IGN Performance preview, we dive into the details shared by the team, the revealed PC minimum and recommended specifications, and how the Creation Engine 2 works, comparing the previous games to gauge some of the potential reasons why the team might have chosen 30fps. With Starfield being the center of the Xbox 2023 Showcase last week, Bethesda gave us a deep dive into one of the biggest games this generation. You can learn more about the various game modes on the Options and Settings page. Note that above screenshots were taken in Creative Mode the leviathans seem not to attack in Creative Mode so you may wish to find this creature after you have beaten Survival Mode. There is no other known fish or life growing here, and your PDA may also warn you about this.

If you are diving into the void in a Seatruck, you'll need at least the MK3 depth module upgrade, as the Void Chelicerate can be found in the World Edge up to 1,000 meters deep. The Void Chelicerate seems to have some kind of rot or decay on its gray body and will attack you and your Seatruck. It is also home to the Void Chelicerate, a large and aggressive leviathan similar to the red-ish colored Chelicerate that lives in the Purple Vents. Though it surrounds the entirety of the map, the player normally enters the biome through the Lilypad Islands, either of the Arctic regions, and the Tree Spires, unlike the Crater Edge which can be entered through any given direction.
